Layout & movement
Plan preparation, cooking, washing and storage around how you use the room. Consider island seating, door swings and the routes between the kitchen and adjoining spaces.
A place to cook.
A reason to gather.
A kitchen is part of the way a home is lived in. C’est ici Design brings layout, cabinetry, materials and lighting into one considered design, shaped around your daily rituals.

everyday living.
Where do you prepare breakfast? What stays on the counter? How do guests move through the room? These small questions inform the plan, from the position of an island to the storage behind a cabinet door.
For a new home or an existing kitchen, the design should connect practical decisions with the wider interior. We consider circulation, appliances, surfaces and lighting together, with the deliverables and project-team responsibilities defined in your proposal.

Warm timber.
Strong surfaces.
A connected room.
The Villa 37 kitchen pairs dark cabinetry and veined surfaces with warm timber. The island introduces a place to sit, while the wider view connects the kitchen with the home’s dining and living spaces.
These photographs show the kitchen within an existing C’est ici project. Your own design starts with a fresh brief: the room, the people using it and the relationship to the rest of your home.

A few useful starting points before speaking with the studio.
Yes. A kitchen can be considered alongside the living, dining and other spaces in your home. Share the full project brief so the studio can propose an appropriate design scope.
Share the current floor plan and photographs. They help the studio understand what could be retained and which changes are worth exploring. Structural, plumbing and electrical changes require assessment by the relevant specialists.
Bespoke design is part of the studio’s practice. Cabinetry layouts, proportions and finishes can be included in an agreed design scope. Fabrication, appliance supply and installation responsibilities are defined in the proposal.
The room’s size and condition, the level of design detail, material choices, cabinetry, appliances and the extent of project support all affect the budget. A plan, photographs and a budget range help the studio prepare a relevant proposal.
The proposal sets out what is included. Design, procurement, fabrication, contractor work and any required approvals are distinct responsibilities and should be agreed before the project begins.
Send the property location, a floor plan or approximate dimensions, photographs, your preferred timing and budget range. Add any appliance requirements and a short description of how you cook, entertain and use the space.
